Dragline Silk curatorial essay
WHAT IS DRAGLINE?
Born from Local, a cultural podcast exploring the ragged edges of place on the Tasmanian West-Coast, comes DRAGLINE, an intimate event with a singular purpose: to invite you in.
Recordings made in secret places, bedrooms, half-empty shop fronts and backyard sheds become real as we collide across venues in the heart of Queenstown. Musicians, filmmakers, writers, artists; we are friends, locals and friends of locals.
This is not a festival. This is an episode.
Dragline Silk is an exhibition co-created by Emmalie Kyle and Sarah Rhodes, hosted in PressWEST, as part of Dragline.
